TM 5-3895-374-10Sectionalization is accomplished during the tear down of the asphalt mixing plant. Tear down is complete when the plant isready for transport. No further sectionalization is required.3.Special Materials Handling Equipment (MHE)The following equipment will be required for marine transportation:1.Slings2.Tie down cables or chains3.Spreader bars (one set provided with the AMP)4.Blocking for kingpins5.Wheel chocks4.Speed RequirementsThe maximum towed speed for all components is as follows:1.Paved roadway - 40 miles per hour over smooth hard surfaced primaryhighways.2.Unpaved roadway - 10 miles per hour.5.Over Dimensional TrailersThe M081 Asphalt Mixing Plant includes trailers which may exceed the allowable length or width. Prior to movement obtainany necessary permits or approvals required to move the trailer.Ground clearance in some trailers may be restricted. Electrical Power SupplyThe M081 Asphalt Mixing Plant is powered by two primary 200 kW generators and one standby 60 kW generator.
