The M081 Asphalt Mixing Plant is a continuous mix process. This requires that equipment at the end of the process be
operational prior to the feed of raw materials. This is guaranteed through the use of electrical interlocks. The plant PLC
confirms that specific electric motors are operational prior to starting the feed of raw materials.
