INFORMATION display/timeThe time and date display are shown in Figure 0.6 at the right of the Information display area.The date shown is in the form month/day/year, MM/DD/YY. To the right of the date is the current time. ’Military’ time isused so that 1PM is shown as 13:00, one hour past noon. The clock does NOT continue to run when the computer isturned off so that the operator must reset the time whenever the computer is turned on. When running, the colon (:) in thetime display flashes on/off on alternate seconds. In the unlikely event that the colon does not flash it is certain that acomputer failure has occurred and operation should cease immediately.Directly above the clock is a three digit stopwatch. This stopwatch starts counting whenever the target rate or target mixnumber is changed and continues running for 500 seconds after a change. After 500 seconds, the stopwatch is blankedfrom the screen.
