The setpoint is a signal sent from theoutput port of the indicator to open or close a gate or toturn on or off some external device.To store a setpoint value press [20] [SELECT] then enterthe desired setpoint value and press[SELECT]again. Forexample:to set a setpoint at 1000Press 120]1SELECTI, Press [10001[SELECTITo check the setpoint value that you have entered, press[20] [SELECT] again.Note: This setpoint operates on the displayed weight,regardless of the scale channel selected.Channel 1 Setpoint.Channel 2 Setpoint.Channel 3 Setpoint.These 3 setpoints are only available with the optional 100-174 setpoint board.These setpoints are independent and are operativeregardless of which weight channel Is being displayed.Setpoint values are stored in a similar manner to thatdescribed above.Note. When checking the values for these setpoints makesure you press [CLEAR] after each value is displayed,otherwise the next selection (i.e. [22] [SELECT] will beinterpreted as the value entry for the previously selectedsetpoint (i.e. [21] [SELECT]).SECTION II - INSTALLATION AND WIRINGPhysicalInstallationThe DF2000 indicator can be located wherever convenient. It is notadvisable to locate the indicator where it would be exposed to direct sunlight,excessive mechanical abuse or moisture.PowerRequirementsThe DF2000 desk-top model has a self-contained DC power supply thatrequires only a source of 115V-120V AC. If you are using your own powersupply, please note that the indicator requires a 12 VDC input. It will operatesatisfactorily over an input range from 11 VDC to 17 VDC. Although theindicator has built-in voltage regulation, it is most desirable that the inputvoltage be stable over the stated input range. Ensure that an inline fuse isinstalled and is of the correct size - AGCI (1 amp fast blowing). No other fuseshould be used.(page 3-57)
